Joan is celebrating her 34th year in the real estate industry and brings to the table a breath of experience in sales, leasing and management. Joan began her career at Shannon & Luchs Co. and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a managing broker in just her seventh year and holding the distinction of being the company’s youngest manager by over 15 year to her next associate manager.

After 19 successful years, Joan moved to Gerlach Real Estate Inc. to focus on her residential sales practice and while adding new responsibilities and conquering new challenges along the way, she is most proud of achieving successive personal residential sales records for 15 years in a row.

On a current basis, Joan works with Don to ensure that all aspects of Brenits Realty Management, LLC run smoothly and she has a hand in all aspects of the business including marketing, operations and administrative & support functions.

Joan has also served as a teacher and led training seminars on a variety of topics including DC Landlord-Tenant Law. Clients find Joan to be an adept and strong negotiator who provides full service and an excellent attention to detail in all areas of the real estate process.
